Sacred and Profane Love Serigraph 27" x 22" $225, includes matte A videotape about the artist Max Ernst mentioned the phrase "Sacred and Profane Love". When I heard the phrase, I thereupon set myself to fantasizing as to how I might go about trying to depict that concept. I started sketching, and playing with color. When I finally got to the actual production of this print, most of the conceptualizing and composition, as is usually the case, grew under my squeegee.This, the result of my musings, shows an image of a lady of pristine purity floating above, while below, some very naughty Furies cavorting in Hades.
